The city is hosting a public meeting to explain its plan to extend The Rapids Parkway over what is currently part of the Howard Watson Nature Trail.
The June 18 drop-in session at the St. Patrick’s High School cafeteria is part of the Environmental Assessment process and will run from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Information will be presented on the purpose of the study, preliminary road and nature trail designs, and impact mitigation. Those attending can ask questions and provide input.
