A half-day seminar for local employers on ‘Marijuana in the Workplace’ will take place Jan. 18.
Anthony Folan of Integral HR Solutions will discuss employer rights and responsibilities, police recommendations on fitness for duty, bulletproof terminations, and how to determine if your organization is ready.
The federal government plans to legalize recreational marijuana July 1.
Sponsored by the Sarnia Lambton Industrial Alliance, the seminar is at the Hampton Inn, from 8 a.m. to noon.
