Lambton Public Health and the Sarnia Humane Society are teaming up to provide a low-cost rabies vaccination clinic on April 14.

The clinic is open to cats and dogs at least three months of age at a cost of $25 per animal.

The pet must be in good health, not vaccinated within the past year and either leashed or contained.

The clinic runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Humane Society, 131 Exmouth St. in Sarnia.

Vaccinating pets is key to preventing rabies, a fatal, viral disease spread by the saliva of an infected animal.
