Bluewater Health is getting a financial boost.
Ontario is providing a 3.2% funding increase for the coming year to meet current and future demand for regular services, the province said.
The $4.55 million top-up does not include money for COVID-19-related expenses, which is tracked and reported separately, said Sarnia-Lambton MPP Bob Bailey.
Bluewater Health operates hospital sites in Sarnia and Petrolia.
Overall, Ontario is investing an additional $935 in hospitals this year.
