Local COVID-19 update for Thursday, April 23

The number of reported COVID-19 cases in Sarnia-Lambton stood at 159 today, nine more cases than Wednesday, Lambton Public Health said. The number of deaths held steady at 14 for a fourth straight day.

The number of reported COVID-19 cases in Sarnia-Lambton stood at 159 today, nine more cases than Wednesday, Lambton Public Health said.

The number of deaths held steady at 14 for a fourth straight day.

Sixty-six people have contracted and recovered from COVID-19, an increase of four.

Health officials have received 1,301 test results as of today, almost doubling the number of results in just over a week.

Of all the people tested, 12% were positive for the virus that causes COVID-19.
