Carrie McEachran has been hired as the new CEO of the Sarnia Lambton Chamber of Commerce, starting May 6.

McEachran is currently executive director of Sarnia-Lambton Rebound, and chair of the Social Services Network of Sarnia-Lambton.

She is also a former president of the Rotary Club of Sarnia, and former board member for the Physician Recruitment Taskforce Board and North Lambton Community Health Centre.

McEachran has lived in Sarnia-Lambton the past 25 years, and together with husband Matt has five children.

She said she looks forward to working with the local business community.

“While the last two years have provided more challenges than anyone could have imagined, it has also left us with great hope and opportunities to reimagine and rebuild,” said McEachran, who holds a Master’s degree in Leadership.

She will take over for former Chamber boss Allan Calvert, who retired March 1.
