Kyle Herbert, a Grade 11 co-op student from LCCVI in Petrolia, does his best to contain a litter of kittens while executive director Donna Pyette adds one more for a group shot at the Sarnia and District Humane Society. The shelter already has 100 cats and kittens in its care on Exmouth Street and in foster homes “and the kitty season has just started,” Pyette said.
