The Celebration of Lights returns to Centennial Park on Saturday, with Santa flipping the switch at 6:15 p.m. followed by fireworks at 6:45 p.m.
Taylor Soulliere, in the white coat, was one of 42 students from Alexander Mackenzie Secondary School who helped set up the displays last week.
The opening ceremonies begin at 4 p.m. with face painting and super heroes followed by live music and wagon rides at 5 p.m.
The Celebration of Lights continues nightly from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. until Jan. 1, with extended hours New Year’s Eve. Glenn Ogilvie
