Ed and Edna Braithwaite won the final regular tournament of the year at the Sarnia Lawn Bowling Club, taking the Smith Funeral Home Open on Sept. 7.
The pair from the host club edged Jim Foley and Bob McQueen, who placed second, and Gord and Amanda McKay, who finished third.
Sarnia was set to host the Provincial Novice Pairs Championship Sept. 11-13.
