Lambton County has embraced a program to help its employees recognize and respond to domestic violence. The ‘Make it Our Business’ program helps workers spot the warning signs, be supportive and refer those in need for help.

The ‘Make it Our Business’ program helps workers spot the warning signs, be supportive and refer those in need for help.

About 350 of the county’s 1,200 employees have either completed or were scheduled to complete the training, which is taught in classrooms and online.

A Western University anti-violence research centre recognized Lambton’s effort recently.
