Lambton College is ranked #1 among the top 50 research colleges in Canada in 2018.
It is the second straight year the college earned top billing from Research InfoSource Inc., an R&D consulting and publishing firm. Lambton was third in 2016.
Toronto’s George Brown College was in second place again this year, followed by the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in third.
The rankings are based on surveys, financial statements and income from all sources that support applied and scholarly research.
Through applied research, the college has helped develop more than 60 new prototypes, 20 pilot plants and 300 new or improved processes, technologies and services.
