The coach of the Lambton College men’s varsity basketball team has recorded his 100th win.
James Grant reached the milestone when he led the Lions to a 104-42 victory over the visiting Sault College Cougars on Nov. 10.
“Being able to celebrate something like that in our brand new facility, in front of our fans, really made it that much more exciting,” he said.
Grant is in his eighth season as Lambton’s bench boss and became the first coach in its history to earn 100 wins.
The Lions under Grant’s guidance brought home their first OCAA Division One basketball medal in 2016 when they won the bronze medal game.
