Sarnia-Lambton will be well represented at the Alliance Hockey AAA All-Star games next month.

The U-15, U-16 and U-18 all-star rosters were announced this week, and include several Lambton Jr. Sting players and coaching staff.

The U-15 game takes place Jan. 9 in London and features Lambton Jr. Sting forward Mitchell Stack (team navy) facing off against teammates Darrius Sinopole on defence and Corunna’s Johnny McLaughlin on forward for team white.

The U-16 game will be held Jan. 8 in Komoka, and includes Lambton Jr. Sting forward Jack Nesbitt and defenceman Luke Laevens (team navy), with forwards Owen Knight and Isaac Truman of Petrolia, on team white.

The U-16 team white will be coached by Lambton Jr. Sting bench staff Brad Riley (head coach), assistant coaches Paul Hurtubise and Craig Musico, and trainers Jim Fogarty and Blair Gaulton. Team bench staffs were selected based upon League standings as of a specific point in the season.

The U-18 game will also be played Jan. 8 in Komoka and features Alvinston’s Hayden Duncan of the Elgin Middlesex Canucks in net for team navy, along with Lambton Jr. Sting defenceman and London native Viljar Mcgee. Team white includes Lambton Jr. Sting forward Jackson Birkbeck.

All rosters feature two goaltenders, six defencemen and twelve forwards selected from the respective Leagues by a panel of scouts.
