Lambton golfer among leaders

Eric Patenaude of Lambton College finished in a tie for 14th place overall at the Canadian University/College Golf Championships in Guelph. He shot rounds of 72, 71, 77 and 70 to complete the 72 holes at 10 over par 290; ten shots back of the winner.

He shot rounds of 72, 71, 77 and 70 to complete the 72 holes at 10 over par 290; ten shots back of the winner.

His score was tied for the best by the 11 college athletes who competed at the event, which featured a mix of 105 golfers from colleges and universities from across the country.

Camlachie's David French, who plays for the University of Waterloo, had rounds of 77, 80 and 77 and did not make the 54-hole cut.
