The Lambton Lions men’s basketball team downed Sheridan College 100 to 78 on Sunday win the bronze medal at the OCAA playoffs.
It was the team’s third straight trip to the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association playoffs and the first medal finish since 1992.
Lambton just missed advancing to gold medal game after being edged 116-115 in triple overtime in the semi-final to Mohawk College.
“It’s a great accomplishment for our staff and players to rank right up there with some of the best teams in the province,” said head coach James Grant.
Lambton's Shawn Hill and Mike Lucier were both named OCAA Championship All-Stars.
