Lambton College has received $860,00 from the federal government to help its Bio-industrial Process Research Centre.
The money will be used to purchase new equipment and help the centre search for new ways to make consumer and industrial products out of renewable, bio-based materials.
Increasing the centre’s capacity will help companies enter the market, create jobs and reduce emissions, officials said.
