A fire caused damages of more than $1 million at a Lakeshore Road home last week, Sarnia Fire and Rescue said.
Flames that started in an attached garage spread to the executive home in the 1600 block of Lakeshore around 3:30 p.m. on Jan. 14.
One occupant suffered minor burns and was treated and released from hospital.
When firefighters arrived the garage, which contained two cars and two motorcycles, was fully engulfed in flame. The house also sustained major damage.
The cause is still under investigation but foul play is not suspected, said fire prevention officer Roel Bus.
