The Sarnia Jr. Lady Sting U11 BB team won gold at the Barrie Sharkfest tournament over the weekend after a 1-0 victory over the Oakville Hornets in the championship matchup.
The team opened the tournament with a 3-0 over the Lakeshore Lightning, a 1-3 loss to the Oakville Hornets and a 6-1 win over the Etobicoke Dolphins. They moved on to an 8-1 semi-final win vs. the Dolphins, earning a spot in the gold medal game.
