Indie music fest returns to Sarnia

A three-day indie music festival known as Empty Fest returns to Sarnia for its 8th installment, running April 21 to 23.

The music series features 13 acts, from Detroit, Toronto and Sarnia — from punk to hip hop to big band — performing on local stages at three separate venues.

Empty Fest kicks off with a free show on Thursday, April 21 at the Refined Fool followed by concerts at Liquid Johnnys and Paddy Flaherty’s.

All shows are 19+, with doors open at 9 p.m., and music beginning between 9:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. Two-day festival passes are available for $20 at the Refined Fool Brewery, or at the doors during the festival.
