Lambton Public Health is holding a walk-in clinic this Saturday (July 24) at the Dow Centre for Youth.

Everyone aged 12-plus can drop in, without an appointment, and get a first dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. The clinic runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“We’re trying to make it as easy as possible for residents to get vaccinated,” said Dr. Sudit Ranade, Lambton’s Medical Officer of Health. “Just show up with your health card or another piece of ID, and get protected.”

All youth aged 12 to 17 who receive a vaccination will get a free ticket to an upcoming Sarnia Sting game. The first 100 adults aged 18+ to get a shot will receive a $10 gift card from McDonalds.

Other giveaways, snacks and games will be available at the clinic, the health unit said.

“Being fully vaccinated with two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine provides the best protection from the virus, and its highly transmissible Delta variant which is circulating in the community,” Ranade said.

The Dow Centre for Youth is located at 10 Lorne Crescent in Sarnia.
