Improvements are underway at Sarnia’s Tecumseh Park and the Norma Cox Youth Centre with the addition of new playground equipment, a new skate park and upgrades to the splash pad.

Park N Play Design Canada is onsite at the popular south-end park removing old equipment and making way for an accessible playground, thanks to a grant from the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program (ICIP).

A preliminary design for the new skate park has been complete, and City Hall plans to host a community forum with more details at a future date.

The day-use park at 334 Russell St. S. already features tennis courts, ball diamond, a BMX track, basketball courts and washrooms.
