A 22-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and faces impaired driving charges after police stopped a vehicle for speeding along Highway 40, Sunday night.

Lambton OPP say the vehicle was stopped around 8:40 p.m. near Lambton Line, and the driver, showing signs of impairment, was arrested and transported to the Lambton OPP detachment where breath samples showed a blood-alcohol concentration above the legal limit.

The accused has been released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.

If you see a driver who you suspect may be impaired by alcohol or drugs, contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or *OPP (677) on your mobile phone.
