A 46-year-old Sarnia man was arrested and faces impaired driving charges after crossing the border back into Canada around 3:30 a.m. last Friday.
Lambton County OPP say they were contacted by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) after a driver, attempting to re-enter Canada was taken into custody following the administration of a roadside screening test.
He was released is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
Lambton OPP remind residents that if you see a driver who you suspect may be impaired by alcohol or drugs, contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or *OPP (677) on your mobile phone.
