How and when to vote in election advance polls

Advance polls for the Oct. 21 federal election will be held in Sarnia-Lambton on Friday Oct. 11, Saturday Oct. 12, Sunday Oct. 13, and Monday Oct. 14. You can vote only at the advance poll to which you are assigned.

Advance polls for the Oct. 21 federal election will be held in Sarnia-Lambton on Friday Oct. 11, Saturday Oct. 12, Sunday Oct. 13, and Monday Oct. 14.

You can vote only at the advance poll to which you are assigned. If you are on the National Register of Voters, you will receive a Voter Information Card (VIC) the first week of October. Each VIC will name the location to which voters are assigned.

Advance polls in the immediate Sarnia area will be open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the following location: Bright’s Grove Public School, Point Edward Community Centre, Pathways Health Centre for Children, Sardo Club, Sarnia Arena, Dow Centre for Youth, Clearwater Community Centre, Carpenters Union 1256, Royal Canadian Legion Branch 447 in Corunna, and Our Lady of Mercy Parish Hall.

If you have not received your VIC and wish to vote at an advance poll, the information is online at www.elections.ca and at the local Returning Office, 595 Murphy Rd. The number is 1-866-281-4745.
