High school tennis results

Sarnia’s St. Patrick’s High School won the team championship at the Lambton-Kent secondary tennis finals held at the Sarnia Riding Club and Sarnia Tennis Club. Northern Collegiate was fourth and St. Clair Secondary tied for fifth at the Oct. 8 event.

Sarnia’s St. Patrick’s High School won the team championship at the Lambton-Kent secondary tennis finals held at the Sarnia Riding Club and Sarnia Tennis Club.

Northern Collegiate was fourth and St. Clair Secondary tied for fifth at the Oct. 8 event.

Individual winners from Sarnia schools included:

Boys Singles:    Andrew Davies (Northern)

Girls Singles:     Sarah Barry (St. Pat’s) defeated Elise McInnes (St. Pat’s) 8-1

Girls Doubles: Clara & Catherine Rastin (St. Pat’s)

B-Side Finals:

Boys Doubles: James Pavey & Paul Whitson (St. Pat’s) defeated John Milsap & Tristan Buntrock (St. Clair) 8-4

Girls Doubles: Lindsey Osler & Molly Beauchamp (Northern)

The winners and finalists advance to the Southwestern Ontario championship.
