St. Patrick’s high school curling teams continue to impress as the 2016-17 season passes the halfway point.
The St. Pat’s 1 boys squad downed the Northern 1 team on Jan. 16 by a score of 5 – 2, lifting it to a 5-1 record atop the five-team Lambton County division.
The St. Pat’s 2 boys team isn’t far behind, in second place with a 3-1-1 record.
On the Varsity girl’s side, the St. Pat’s 1 team knocked off division-rivals Northern 1 with 9 – 0 shutout on Jan 16.
A three-game win streak boosted the Irish into a first-place tie in the northern division with Northern. Both sport a record of 5-1.
