High school badminton results

St. Clair had the greatest number of city athletes advancing to the Southwestern Ontario high school badminton playdowns. At the senior level, Kayla Griffiths of St.

St. Clair had the greatest number of city athletes advancing to the Southwestern Ontario high school badminton playdowns.

At the senior level, Kayla Griffiths of St. Clair was 4th in girls singles at the Lambton Kent championships, while Kasen Sebben of St. Francois Xavier was 4th and Priyank Paatel of Northern Collegiate 5th in boys singles.

The top six advance to SWOSSA.

Kate Prudom and ToriAnne Miller of St. Clair were 6th in girls doubles, while Andruw Wilker and Eric Rickard, also of St. Clair, were 5th in boys doubles.

In mixed doubles, the St. Clair team of Morgan Campbell and Brett Brydges placed 2nd.

In the junior ranks, in boys singles, Andrew Davies of Northern was 2nd and Silas Allen of St. Clair 5th.

Finally, the St. Clair team of Cari Hannaford and Sam Cowen finished 4th in mixed doubles, and also advanced to SWOSSA.
