Here’s the lineup for this year’s inaugural First Friday

Journal Staff Sarnia’s First Friday cultural walkabout kicks off the New Year with another slate of live music, art exhibitions and downtown shopping on Jan. 4. Many stores and galleries are open till 9 p.m.

Sarnia’s First Friday cultural walkabout kicks off the New Year with another slate of live music, art exhibitions and downtown shopping on Jan. 4.

Many stores and galleries are open till 9 p.m., and street and lot parking downtown is free after 6 p.m.

THEMPTATIONS - Hemp Goods and Culture Shops - 180 Christina St. N. - Visit with local artists from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

ZZAS PIZZA BISTRO - 170 Christina St N – 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. - live music by Mike Blackmore.

CHEEKY MONKEY - 130 Christina St. N – 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. - live music with acoustic duo Me & Mr. Smith. Plus original art show & sale "Gifts Abound" by Bill Walters.

COWBOYS & INDIANS - 121 Christina St. N - Open until 9 p.m. - Works by local First Nations Artists featured.

THE LAWRENCE HOUSE CENTRE FOR THE ARTS - 127 Christina St. S – 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. - Opening of the Annual Floyd Gibson Juried Show. Presentation of the Mayor's Awards at 7 p.m. - Music by singer-songwriter Andrea Max.

HAWG BAR - 117 Christina St. N - 9 p.m. - 11 p.m. - Featuring music by the J & B Duo.

ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION, Branch 62 - 286 Front St N. – 8 p.m. to midnight - Music and dancing with The Persuaders. Sign-making party in preparation for Women’s March Canada: Sarnia-Lambton 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

BAD DOG SARNIA - 229 Christina St N – 8 p.m. – 12 midnight - live music with Renee and Rob.

UPS N’ DOWNS - 226 Front St N - 9 p.m. - 1 a.m. - live music with Dan Butts.
