Downtown light standards have been decorated with a banner designed by local artist Allen Joseph in preparation for International Communities in Bloom judges, who are coming to inspect Sarnia July 26-29.
Sarnia is up against Chatham-Kent Zlin Czech Republic, Antalya Turkey (non competitive) and Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, South Korea (non competitive) in the International Challenge.
Local committee members are, from left, Anne Marie Gillis, Bev Horodyski, Jane Bastien, Chuck Toth, Paula Stokes, Patti Ross, Diana LeTourneau, Marilyn Rawson, Barb Toye and Al Duffy. Missing are Nora Penhale and Wayne Wager.
