Health unit searching for dog following bite incident in Sarnia

Lambton Public Health is seeking information about the location of a dog and its owner following a dog bite incident that occurred around 11 p.m. on Friday, June 30 in the crosswalk at Christina St N and George St.

The dog is described as medium sized, with dark coloured fur, resembling a mastiff, and was being walked by a male owner.

The owner is described as slender, average height, with short dark hair and is thought to be between 30-40 years.

If the dog is not located and the health status of the animal verified, the victim will need to receive post exposure rabies shots.
