Ground Control, we have lift-on
Volunteers enthusiasts and local members of the Canadian Owners and Pilots Association, Flight 7, remount a vintage F-86 Sabre fighter jet on its pedestal in Germain Park last week. Over the past two years an all-volunteer restoration team has lovingly returned the former Golden Hawks aerial team aircraft to its former glory, using a shoestring budget and donated materials and labour. A public dedication ceremony is planned for the spring.
