Officials celebrated the grand opening recently of the new Bluewater Medical Clinic and Rapids Family Health Team Access to Care Centre, located at 481 London Road.
The newly renovated site is expected to ease the burden on the emergency department at Bluewater Health, by providing same-day access to care for patients, along with the after-hours clinic.
Patients experiencing conditions like ear infections, urinary tract infections, stomach conditions, etc. can be seen by a nurse practitioner between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. while the Sarnia Physicians Group operates the After-Hours Clinic at the site between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m., Monday through Friday.
