City hall is getting $75,000 in federal support for a system to monitor the flow in and out Sarnia’s 56 pumping stations.

The improvement will allow city staff to step in quickly to reduce the size of wastewater overflows and bypasses to the St. Clair River.

The money is coming from Ottawa’s Great Lakes sustainability fund.
