Sarnia-Lambton MP Marilyn Gladu is taking a strong stand against the Liberal government’s plan to allow homegrown marijuana next year.
Gladu, who is also the Conservative health critic, recently motioned for an amendment to Bill C-45 that would restrict Canadians from having any cannabis plants in their home.
The Trudeau government’s legalization bill, as written, would allow people to grow up to four plants at a time for recreational use.
Gladu has said home-grows will make it easier for children get access to marijuana, a position also backed by the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police.
