You’ll be able to grab some street eats at Tecumseh Park this summer.
The city has signed a deal with New York Dogs on Wheels to provide food and beverages to patrons of the Cox Youth Centre pool and splash pad, ball diamond, skatepark and surrounding neighbourhood from June 1 to Oct. 31.
The agreement is for one year, with options for an additional two years.
A request for proposals was issued to mobile food vendors for Canatara, Bayshore, Kenwick on the Lake, and Centennial Park, but New York Dogs approached the city and asked about servicing the park complex on South Russell Street.
