More than $10,000 has already been raised as part of a GoFundMe fundraiser to help Shane Liegghio, his girlfriend Samantha Vaillancourt, and their two little girls aged eight and two — after a fire ripped through their Harkness Street home, Dec. 6.

Fortunately the family wasn’t home at the time, but the family dog — six-year-old Gemma — and cat, did not survive, said Danielle Liegghio, Shane’s sister.

“I have started this to help them get through the next few months with them losing everything,” she wrote. “I want to make sure my nieces have a wonderful Christmas.”
