Residents looking to safely dispose of confidential or sensitive documents can bring them to Sarnia Police’s annual ‘Shred Event’ on Saturday, June 24.

The 12th annual event is offered free of charge in the parking lot of Walmart, 1444 Quinn Dr. from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Individuals can safely dispose of sensitive documents that could be used by criminals to commit fraud and identity theft.

It is not meant for businesses, and do not bring newspapers and magazines that can be recycled.

Donations will be accepted for the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics.
