Despite sporting one of the best records in the second half of the Great Lakes Junior “C” Hockey League, the Mooretown Flags made a quick exit from the league playoffs.
The Flags had no answer for the Essex 73’s, losing in four straight games.
The 73’s had the best record in the regular season and were finalists in the Schmalz Cup playdowns the past two seasons.
