The countdown is on for Tourism Sarnia-Lambton’s inaugural Festival of Cheers event, happening Dec. 17 at the Progressive Auto Sales Arena.

The craft beer, wine, cider and food show will showcase Lambton’s drink producers, along with entertainment by the Dwayne Gretzky Band and Rumblefish.

“Our Lambton County drink producers are key destination drivers attracting visitors on an ongoing basis to discover and enjoy everything that Sarnia-Lambton has to offer,” said TSL executive director Mark Perrin. "Tourism Sarnia-Lambton is excited to expand our partnerships, commitment, and support for our Lambton County drink producers by growing our ‘Cheers to the Coast’ program and adding this new ‘Festival of Cheers’ event, as together we continue to market and promote everyone from residents to visitors across the province and our neighbouring states to come experience our world class drink producers in Lambton County.”

The event includes both a daytime and evening portion — running from noon to 4 p.m., and 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., featuring nine breweries, two wineries, two cider/mead producers, food vendors, backyard games, entertainment and activities.

Daytime admission is free to the public, while admission for the evening, including the live concert, is $30.

Advance drink sample token packages are available at the Tourism Sarnia-Lambton Visitor Centre
