The federal building in downtown Sarnia has been renamed the Jack (Bud) Cullen Building, in honour of the late Sarnia MP.

Federal Public Safety Minister Ralph Goodale unveiled the plaque last week at 105 Christina St., along with Sarnia Mayor Mike Bradley and members of Cullen’s family.

Cullen served as minister of national revenue and minister of employment and immigration in the cabinet of Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau.

He was appointed a Federal Court of Canada judge after resigning from Parliament in 1984.
