Canada’s largest lender to the agricultural industry has opened a new office in Sarnia.

Thirteen Farm Credit Canada employees formerly working Wyoming have relocated to the 4,900-square-foot facility at 111 Business Park Drive.

FCC is a self-sustaining Crown Corporation that provides financing, management software, and information to the farming and food industry.

“We conducted market research and found that Sarnia was the best location for our customers and staff,” said senior district director Perry Wilson.

The new Sarnia office, located on the edge of town and just off Highway 402, serves more than 500 customers with a loan portfolio of $560 million.
