Fans eager to see the Sarnia Sting play this fall will need to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

The Ontario Hockey League announced Friday that proof of vaccinations will be mandatory for all spectators and others entering game night venues, including the Progressive Auto Sales Arena.

Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied and supervised by a fully vaccinated adult.

The Sarnia Sting hockey club is working with arena staff to determine how best to execute the new health protocols.

Sting ticket holders can expect more information soon, the team said.
