Ex-Sting join Ryerson program

They’ve been recruited to play CIS hockey for the Toronto-based Ryerson Rams this season.

Chapman was a fourth round choice of the Sarnia Sting in 2010 and after playing 47 games with the Sarnia Legionnaires that season became a fan favourite with the Major Junior "A" franchise.

He played in 180 games over parts of four seasons registering two goals and 23 assists and amassing 321 penalty minutes.

Last season he had four assists and 46 penalty minutes in 18 games in the Buffalo Sabres farm system.

Paliani had two goals and six assists in 30 games with the Sting last season after being acquired from the Saginaw Spirit.
