Simply Summer Dinner in Whites

On Thursday, July 6th, 2023, Simply Summer Dinner in Whites is pleased to host the annual outdoor dinner in support of YWHO Sarnia-Lambton. Simply Summer Dinner in Whites (previously Simply White Dinner), is based on a global, outdoor epicurean experience where guests dress in summer whites and bring their own meal complete with plates and flatware to the event. During dinner a jazz quartet will play and afterwards a DJ will get everyone out on the dance floor. The last event, held under the Bluewater Bridge in 2019, sold out at 325 attendees. This year’s location is still a secret, but they hope to top the number of attendees from 2019. The public is invited to join in for an evening of dining and dancing. Proceeds from the event will go directly to Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario, Sarnia Lambton.

Lambton County’s brand-new Youth Wellness Hub Ontario (YWHO) www.youthhubs.ca is one of 22 provincial hubs set to open soon. YWHO is a provincial initiative that provides timely intervention to youth in a centralized location through the support of multiple health and community agencies. This hub will be a “one-stop-shop” for youth aged 12-25 who are seeking counselling, intervention, employment, housing and many other community and social services. YWHO partners include Canadian Mental Health Association, St. Clair Child and Youth, and Bluewater Health Foundation.

Event Coordinator, Kelly-Lynn Musico, believes “YWHO will be a life-changing community centre for the most vulnerable youth in our community. Let’s help make it a success… together.”
