The Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery is inviting families and members of the public to drop-in to the art studio every Saturday afternoon, beginning July 1, between 1pm and 3pm for a short, artist-facilitated studio activity inspired by current exhibitions. New activities will be offered evert month, with the same activity running weekly for the entirety of the month.
In July the “Thinking in Pixels” program will run on Saturdays from July 1 to July 29. A pixel is one of the small dots or squares that make up an image typically on a computer screen. This month, we’ll be creating images with pixels in the real world. Using fusible beads, we’ll show you how to design and create your own pixelated artwork.
Family Saturdays are free. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
