Climate Action Sarnia-Lambton – Bio-diversity: Bringing It Home

January 17 @ 7:00 pm

Free

Climate Action Sarnia- Lambton members are excited to offer a free monthly “speaker series” at the Sarnia Public Library Auditorium downtown.

The first presentation, Bio-diversity: Bringing It Home, by horticulturalist Mike Smalls is Tuesday January 17 at 7pm. Mike will share proven ways individuals, businesses, schools, etc. can increase local biodiversity, help endangered species and help fight climate change while improving the beauty of the city. He will share photos of his own property and many others and share the success of establishing “mini-forests” in the city – a concept first successfully implemented in Japan and now being adopted in other countries. Sponsored by Friends of the St Clair River and Golden Alexanders Native Plant Nursery.
