36th Annual Run/Walk/Skate/Bike

Since 1987, the “Boys’ Home Run” has been a feature of Bright’s Grove every Father’s Day. It has grown to include a 10k timed road race, a 5k timed run, a 5k walk, a 7k rollerblade, a 7k bike ride, and a free Kids Adventure Course. All participants get a free pancake breakfast and spectators can enjoy breakfast for a small fee.

People come from near and far to participate. Some are aiming for a new personal best on our flat fast route, while others are testing their abilities with a new distance, and many are there to enjoy a fun day with family and friends. All proceeds from this event stay within our local community and benefit the youth of Huron House Boys’ Home. This is one of our largest fundraising events and helps ensure we are able to continue our work supporting youth mental health.
