If you’re looking to satisfy musical itches that range from surf to afro-beat and pop to punk, then Sarnia is the place to be April 23-25.

The 7th annual Empty Fest is bringing 13 diverse Ontario bands to three stages over three nights, said co-organizer Danny Alexander.

They range from the Juno-nominated gypsy-punk act Lemon Bucket Orkestra to the 10-piece Asiko Afrobeat Ensemble, who is co-headlining the event.

This year’s celebration of indie music will rotate to a different venue each night: Paddy Flaherty’s, Liquid Johnny’s and the Trinity Lounge. And the first night is free.

All shows are 19 plus and doors open at 8:45 p.m.
