Economic Partnership hosting consultation sessions

Published on

Residents with ideas on how to improve the community are invited to an upcoming series of consultation sessions.

Aimed at increasing economic activity, the sessions are an opportunity to provide input on the future of the community, said the Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership, which is hosting them.

The facilitated sessions are designed to be engaging and positive, focusing on amenities residents are already proud of as well as identifying a strategic “wish list” of businesses.

“The economic growth of our area is driven by residents and business owners, and we encourage all residents to help identify our resources and assets, and build on that foundation to make our communities resilient for the long-term,” said CEO Stephen Thompson.

Ten sessions in Sarnia-Lambton. The two closest are:

SARNIA — Wednesday, Oct. 23, 7 p.m. at the Sarnia Arena, Kiwanis Room, 134 Brock St. S.

POINT EDWARD — Wednesday, Oct. 16, 7 p.m. at the Optimist Hall, 210 Monk St.
