A pair of Mooretown Lady Flags teams won gold at the 41st Annual Walter Gretzky Girls’ Hockey Tournament over the weekend.
The U-11 “HL” and U-13 “B” teams won their respective division championships at the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre in Brantford, Sunday.
The U-11 team defeated the London Devilettes 3-1 in the final, while the U-13 team took the 4-1 win over the Keene Wolverines.
The winning teams also included two sets of sisters — Kree and Taya Ross; and Raven and Olivia Cotterill.
